Design a book that approaches a work in the public domain in a new way, making it relevant enough to reprint.
Concept
Thomas Paine’s The Rights of Man is full of essays which describe the dangers of not protecting people’s natural rights. With a father that emigrated from Mexico, I am very aware of the challenges encountered by immigrants in this country. Through the use of imagery that juxtaposes imprisonment with freedom, I attempted to convey an idea of the peculiar limbo that immigrants to the United States are in.
